Can't find the old thread for this one and some final completion shots. Been following this one from day one. Started fall 2005

The cemetery needs the ground floor wall of that building softened by some English Ivy or something less destructive maybe... plant something!

Very - uh - Florida-looking.

When walking on the west side of Yonge, you don't even notice it that much.

Another example of where a developer knocked down a perfectly decent older structure to put up a cheesy hideous modern condo--when right around the corner is a blah one story building housing Hero burgers! How many driveways do we need breaking up the streetwall? These driveways to underground condo garages are the equivalent of suburban streets lined with huge garages out front! Put the entry to the garage off an alley around back: common sense you'd think?!

Once again my rating: 1/10 (in comparison, 18 Yorkville rates 9/10)

Is there space available behind/beside the building for laneways?

Unless you want to dig up the dead. Its has a cemetery behind it with a small lane for the Yonge stores.

Yes, a nice view to the south until another one pop in front of it down the street.

Except that, at about 5m long, they are much much shorter.

lol...totally with you on the ivy....I live across the street from this building and almost every time I pass it I wonder when they're going to plant something.

not a bad looking building in a Florida-style way, but terrible streetwall along Yonge....this is the one where Lichtman's bookstore used to be, right?

Imagine that... only a 2 minute drive from there. The stepped terraces really make it for me and if you lived there you would have some amazing 180 degree views to the east and up and down Yonge!
