I5 in Seattle is a disaster. The reversible lane worked fine back in the 1950s/1960s when they built it ... when everyone from the drove downtown. But now with all the reverse commutes, it's very problematic. I don't think they'd build it this way today. I'm thinking of the northern piece, from ... oh, Mountlake Terrace into downtown. I haven't driven further south very often.
