I did look in the neighbourhood thread to find Chinatown/Kensington and this was it. A bit odd since the two areas are very different!Wrong thread.
Finally giving me more of a reason to go there!Just a little observation. There are a bunch of independent coffee shops opening along Spadina between Queen and College which is an indication of things to come. Just sayin’! Lol

Yes, I totally agree! Sometimes I want a coffee in the later afternoon (5 or 6 pm) to give myself an energy boost for the rest of the evening, but so many cozy indie cafes are already closed by that time. It's very frustrating (and no, Tim Horton's doesn't count). In Europe you see cafes packed with people sipping coffee even at night - why is it only a morning thing here??Hopefully they are cozy cafes opened past 6 pm. I'm not a fan of these modern airport lounge looking grab and go style cafes that have opened in last few years. I like to sit and relax and enjoy my latte in a ceramic cup.
Some visual changes coming to Dundas and Spadina, from this signage application in part with the Chinatown BIA.
