If they are truly honest at Herouxville, they wouldn't have hid behind the whole secularity argument; they should have come out and said that we prefer our world to be unchanging and exactly the way it was x hundred years ago. Today it is religious minorities, tomorrow it's going to be ethnic minorities, the day after it's sexual orientation.
Thankfully, the town of Hérouxville has seemingly made an about face.
