Found the second video hilarious. I guess Vancouver isn't perfect :)

The Vancouver Sun (in Vancouver unlike the rest of Anglo Canada, the Sun is the better paper) has a better follow-up. The demolition company, despite giving the spiel about safety, is clearly incompetent.

The best part? The building demolished is the former home of the William Davis Centre for Actors Study. That would be William B. Davis, most known as "Cancer Man" in the X-Files.

You think so? It does strike me as very much outside the box and perhaps not the best choice for inner city, but I wouldn't call it inherently bad.
