I realize it's not much of a problem in most locations. It was just this particular situation of the more than wide enough sidewalk on the street here very briefly for few yards being squeezed down to about 5 feet wide, and with that often blocked by those inexplicably choosing to stand there, causing the other often unaware pedestrians to step in front of fast moving bicycles and ebikes. I haven't seen anyone actually get hit yet, but have seen it almost happen several times now. We definitely do not need more of that.
