There isn’t an appropriate thread yet for this increasingly unique neighbourhood east of Kensington, south of U of T, west of University and north of the AGO or I didn’t find it. The chatter about Baldwin dying are wrong and McCaul is turning into a retail strip. No info on addition to 20 Baldwin other than a big fire 10 years ago. Didn’t realise that there was a well known gallery/event space tucked away on McCaul. Taken 24 February.

You may well be right as I was only at John’s Italian back then. I was just pleased by the number of new storefronts and lack of vacancies; some commentators made it sound like Detroit! And starting in a few months the first of many large condo buildings will start filling up and add a whole new customer base.

Baldwin has always needed a pub. I'm surprised it still doesn't have one.
Many of the cafés now serve later in the day. Not the same as a pub but something. And we’ll see what goes into Lamb’s building which has a large retail space.

Is this the correct thread? Or Queen West. Question: Is there a parking garage below the apartment building on the southwest corner of Grange Park?

Yes, there is a parking garage adjacent to the apartment building in the south west quadrant of the block, but strictly speaking it is not under the park.

The garage is located under the grass, but within the property lines of the apartment building.

You can see the northern limits of the structure below:

The white concrete wall/fence is the boundary:

That shitty new building looks a lot more tolerable hidden behind all the clutter out front now.
