Absolutely, junctionist. The 1859 drawings by Cumberland and Storm of Osgoode Hall in the Ontario Archives must have been instrumental to the heritage architects in the restoration:

It seems I only know how to do Then-and-Nows. Forgive the instrusion, but I found the Then image strikingly evocative.

I wonder if many others, like myself, were puzzled by "Mw" on a street sign.

Love it, wwwebster! Where was Rolyat Street?

It is still there (I looked at it on Google Streetview when WWWW posted the great drawing as it was avery striking building. Unfortunately, unless the numbering has changed radically, the "now" is not the same! It's just south of Dundas off Ossington.
