Just sharing a few shots of Detroit that I had on this computer circa 2004 (don't worry, Detroit still looks the same - it never changes). I was at a festival and not really focusing on the buildings, but a few pictures still might interest some here.
Windsor as seen from Detroit - the 'Underground Railroad' monument is in the foreground.
'Ren Cen' at right... it used to be Ford headquarters; now it is the headquarters for GM.
Detroit's 'Hart Plaza'... Casino Windsor in the background.
Both of these shots are a bit crooked. I had to slide my hand and camera out of a three or four inch opening from a hotel window and snap the pictures with my thumb - took me about twenty tries to get these two relatively straight shots. My favorite Detroit building is in the back left (Penobscot Building)... the dark brick one is the Guardian Building.
