^The longest 2-story rebuild i've ever seen in my life. At least they decided to finally complete the thing.

No kidding, and they've actually been working hard on it for at least the last several weeks. For months beforehand, no work was being done on it; more recently, I noticed they've worked weekends, taken down the scaffolding, finished the bricklaying, and completed some exterior finishings.
Not sure what they delay was or what prompted them to kick it into high(er) gear, but glad to see it finally coming along.

The window sills look awful along the ground level. Is it even going to be wheelchair accessible?

The building is pretty much structurally complete. They just seem to be unable to secure a main retail tenant:

I don't know about that, i think it's more like the city has stalled it?
by the way the owners will have to address that Queen street front entrance

There's a For Lease sign on their windows for some time now. They've been unable to get anyone to sign.

Passed by here on the weekend and there's now finally some retail activity in this building. Couldn't tell if it's a long term tenant. My girlfriend said it looked more like it's being used as a pop up space for different vendors to sell vintage clothes/accessories and some food/ drinks on the outside along Shaw Street.
