The Parks, Forestry and Recreation Division is recommending that the future parkland located at 100 Ranleigh Avenue be officially named "Ranleigh Park".

Proposed Park amenities include:

• Large open lawn area
• Seating and gathering areas (dining table, games tables, benches and seat walls)
• Shade structure
• Adult Fitness equipment
• Labyrinth
• Demonstration community garden planter
• Perennial planting beds
• Pathway

The site requires environmental remediation to remove contaminated soil related to rubble from the demolished church that was formerly located on the site. This will take place during the construction of the park.
