10 best movies of the year

so i have seen quite a few movies this year. I have compiled a list of movies that i really liked, if i was unable to mention some of your faves its probably becuase i had not seen them. Please feel free to comment and compile your own list because there are a lot of movies that i missed or never heard of.

7. Star Trek
8. A Single Man
9. The Forth Kind
10.Whip it

Inglorious basterds was IMO the hands down winner this year. I loved every minute of it.

1) Inglorious Basterds (I agree with drewP on this as #1 - oh, watch it a second time, it's even better!)
2) The Hurt Locker (Kathryn Bigelow finally unleashes the great film we knew she always had in her)
3) Almodóvar's Broken Embraces (most every year his films are on my top 10 list)
4) Let the Right One In (a most unusual vampire flick set in a Stockholm suburb in the early 1980's)
5) Sin Nombre
6) (500) Days of Summer
7) A Serious Man
8) Up in the Air
9) Food Inc.
10) An Education
