company paid the City more than $1 million cash to acquire the Hayden Street lane at the southern border of the site.
are'nt all dealings in regards to buying and selling with the city put on hold during the strike??

Juding by Gold's logic for defaulting on a loan, they seem to have no chance.
Personally, I am happy. I didn't like the design of 1 Bloor. I hope a more inviting supertall ends up here.

If you have a huge mortgage,... and haven't made a mortgage payment in 7 months,... I seriously doubt you'll come out the winner when the bank take you to court. But then again,... I guess you can always "hope"!
if this was the US, Bazis would be in line for a mortgage adjustment/forgiveness courtesy of the US govt.
