I drove the length of the stretch between steeles ave and the city centre loop area. I was shocked by how much of the section north of the 407 is nowhere close to finished or even installing of track.
They need to throw all the resources from the finch and eglinton lines at this once those two...
Names are still placeholders aren't they? Seems like they could change it once it's closer to completion theres a bunch of hypenated stations that could be renamed.
I dont think it's a bad thing that new proposals arent highrise. If they expand the northdale neighbourhood master plan and get midrises built end to end over large blocks we can still achieve density
The Ontario line tracks are gonna be along the dug up areas on the left side in the north facing pic, and on the right side in the south facing pic.

if you search up the park and go to historical images, you can technically see the satellite images for 2025 with the fully formed island and park...
It does seem to be the price only for the Canadian opener. The Vancouver games and remainder of the BMO field games, while still high are a little more palatable
I figured they probably will do significant planting next summer with the cold season coming up, also with closing not officially finishing till end of year and the registration being transferred to the condo board. That's how they did it at my building
