    Toronto Alias | 160.52m | 48s | Madison Group | Teeple Architects

They are constructing a roof access shed on the pub and it appear like there are some interior renovations underway. Not sure if it is the owners or the developer

    Toronto One Delisle | 155m | 44s | Slate | Studio Gang

The downturn might help the design and quality of future buildings as well because people will be more choosey with what they buy and developers will improve materials in order to market the buildings

    Laneway and Garden Houses (various)

I wrote a paper on this about 10 years ago! Homeowners should band together to allow a single builder to develop a row of laneway houses across their properties in order to increase the economy of scale because these things are not cheap. Glad to see an example of it! I also suggested that the...

Toronto Cherry House at Canary Landing | 50.32m | 13s | Dream | COBE Architects

I mean this complex isn’t that different than the stuff you see being developed in Germany and the Scandinavian countries. They like their block architecture with inner courtyards while maintaining the hard edge of the street.

    Toronto Lower Don Lands Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

I really just want them to open up a gate and have a tidal wave of water come down the Don and into the new river. Much cooler....think Nazgul, Arwen, Frodo trippin', and the river Bruinen

    Toronto Canary House | 50.3m | 13s | Dream | BDP Quadrangle

Typically you do not sodablast brick because even the most skilled restoration mechanics can pit the surface of the brick. Pitting removes the protection layer that clay bricks get during the firing process. It means the brick will absorb more water and are more likely to spall during...

Confirmed that it is a potassium silicate stain that absorbs into the bricks. They chose the opaque which is why it appears more like paint

That's what I mean.... 8000/km2 is definitely not an accurate number and the density will increase with Broccolini's developments, the original Regent Park Revitalization increased density and the new increased density under Tridel

Toronto Cherry House at Canary Landing | 50.32m | 13s | Dream | COBE Architects

Sorry, but I am not sure where you got the 8000/km2 number from. The neighbourhood profile on the City of Toronto website says there are currently 10,803 residents (2016) and the density is 16,880/km2. It includes to the Don, but that is mostly car dealerships and light industrial.

    Toronto 199 Church | 124.5m | 39s | CentreCourt | Arcadis

But why didn't they rebuild those two third floor openings? The cost would have been negligible in the grand scheme of things
