As I was walking by this evening I decided to walk up on the elevated walk beside the building. I noticed that both the Café and Dentist Office are closed.

The children have come to visit...

There are a few comments about the event on the Quayside forum.

I don't think it will start anytime soon. Pinnacle is trying to lease some space in the building.

Morning reflections.

It is surprising that no plans have been released that show the updated vision for this site. Does anybody have any insight into what is going on behind the scenes?

So if I'm reading this correctly there seems to be nothing new.

I noticed while walking by yesterday that the ground floor is getting enclosed in windows. I'll try to grab a picture later today.

Looks like work on The Esplanade bike lanes is imminent. Taken this morning.

The Van Gogh sign was removed this morning. The Toronto Star offices moved to The Well around a year ago. There is still some of their furniture left behind on the floors they used to occupy but nobody is there.

There is still a cafe and dentist office running strong in the building. I do not see them making arrangements to shutdown.

Digging continues along the outside.

I just noticed that the exterior framing is being installed on the ground floor.

Starting to add the interesting angled trim.

They are replacing the top construction walls (I'm sure not the right name). They are lowering ones with large print and raising ones with smaller print.

Not sure if this is the start of the roadwork but this happened over the past few days.
