This area is coming along quite nicely. It has a charm to it.

It’s beautiful, those photos show how that area is evolving. It may not be Yorkville or technically Rosedale but it’s a world away from St James Town.

Those fake brick panels are so cheap they look like they could blow off in the next wind storm. The black renderings actually made the building look cool and interesting. Smh

They think they are saving money, but many of us will make a mental note that Alterra builds junk and I would not consider them for my next Pre-construction purchase.

I don’t mind the tower and I like the shape of the balconies. For me the issue is the cheap looking brown podium. It looks very low quality and that brown color isn’t doing it any favours.

What is that lot between red rocket and glen going to be used for? Are they eventually going to put a small park there?

For some reason I think of Via Bloor as being on Howard Street just as much as on Bloor. Howard street does have some ugly buildings on it but it also has some cool old eclectic and historic ones like around Bleeker where they are putting in a new park soon. I find this area extremely interesting.

I’d prefer being sandwiched in between cabbagetown, Rosedale, the danforth, 12 minute walk to Yorkville, with a nice view, with parks and trails nearby, than beside the gardener at 10 York downtown. To each his own I suppose. I consider this area a good location on a street that will eventually...

I agree. I wonder why it wasn’t used? It could have been beautiful. It was quite a handsome old home.

If it’s anything like the other Gupta projects, the bar is set very low. 😂
