    Toronto Burke Condominiums | 163.4m | 53s | Concert | Arcadis

It’s not that bad. People are being dramatic. This building will help improve this area even more, and what the area needs is something light and bright.

Exactly. I think it’s hilarious that anyone believed they would build a quality project. Buyer beware.

    Toronto 576 Sherbourne | 215.75m | 63s | Alterra | Arcadis

Considering the mess that Alterra made with 159SW, I’m not sure how anyone could have confidence in this project? I think we can expect the project to look nothing like the renderings, rental-like build quality, cheaping out finishes and an unfinished looking podium are to be expected. Just walk...

    Toronto 159SW Condos | 118.87m | 36s | Alterra | Richmond Architects

It looks extremely low end, you can tell they cheaped out on this.

What’s up with those poles. Are they just temporary?

Will it be a condo or a high end rental?

Your pics kind of show the worst of Selby with the No Frills entrance and you didn’t show the character of Linden Street at all. I don’t think your pictures represent the charm of the area at all. I stand by my point that there are many streets with a lot less heritage that they could build...

I’m thrilled they came out against this project so strongly. There are hundreds of other streets they could build a couple condo-like towers on. Linden St is very charming, and, although maybe a poor man’s version of a street in Cabbagetown, it has a lot of charm still, which would be ruined by...

    Toronto The Rosedale on Bloor | 185.92m | 55s | Gupta | Arcadis

This area is coming along quite nicely. It has a charm to it.

It’s beautiful, those photos show how that area is evolving. It may not be Yorkville or technically Rosedale but it’s a world away from St James Town.

    Toronto 159SW Condos | 118.87m | 36s | Alterra | Richmond Architects

Those fake brick panels are so cheap they look like they could blow off in the next wind storm. The black renderings actually made the building look cool and interesting. Smh

They think they are saving money, but many of us will make a mental note that Alterra builds junk and I would not consider them for my next Pre-construction purchase.

I don’t mind the tower and I like the shape of the balconies. For me the issue is the cheap looking brown podium. It looks very low quality and that brown color isn’t doing it any favours.

What is that lot between red rocket and glen going to be used for? Are they eventually going to put a small park there?

I’m bored out of my mind with this project. I guess it blends in.

    Toronto Via Bloor | 138.37m | 46s | Tridel | a—A

Vía Bloor is steps away from the Selby, that new popular French restaurant, the subway can take you to Whole Foods in a couple minutes, there are grocery stores within a 5 minute walk, walk south on parliament for a few minutes to find all the interesting stores and small restaurants in...

    Toronto Via Bloor | 138.37m | 46s | Tridel | a—A

For some reason I think of Via Bloor as being on Howard Street just as much as on Bloor. Howard street does have some ugly buildings on it but it also has some cool old eclectic and historic ones like around Bleeker where they are putting in a new park soon. I find this area extremely interesting.

    Toronto Via Bloor | 138.37m | 46s | Tridel | a—A

I’d prefer being sandwiched in between cabbagetown, Rosedale, the danforth, 12 minute walk to Yorkville, with a nice view, with parks and trails nearby, than beside the gardener at 10 York downtown. To each his own I suppose. I consider this area a good location on a street that will eventually...

I agree. I wonder why it wasn’t used? It could have been beautiful. It was quite a handsome old home.

If it’s anything like the other Gupta projects, the bar is set very low. 😂
