    Toronto 5280 Dundas Street West | 167.9m | 49s | Marlin Spring | Jahan Mehr

39 parking spots for for 541 units is low. The GO station here is not all day service, it's very limited rush hour line. And the subway station is a terminal station - meaning the diameter of services available to access via said subway is half that of a regular Subway station (and 1/4 of an...

    Toronto Sherway Gardens Expansion | ?m | 2s | Cadillac Fairview | DIALOG

I'm pretty sure it's only taking up about half of the former SAIL, it looks that way based on the new siding they have up on there. Who knows. And my guess as to why they are leaving, it's likely the higher rent and % of sales they have to give to the mall. This SAIL space has been empty for a...

    Toronto Sherway Gardens Expansion | ?m | 2s | Cadillac Fairview | DIALOG

Looks like SportChek/Atmosphere is leaving the mall going into the former SAIL across the street in the big box area along North Queen. They have a lot of empty space. Not sure why Uniqlo opened such a small store here with all this space. Can only imagine Saks/Bay might pull out soon, too.

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

"All the stations"? This line only adds one station to our network. The rest are stops..... Remove this from the Rapid Transit Network map, remove the Line 6 name.. put this on the streetcar map. It will run slower than the 501 Streetcar runs on its separated track along The Queensway.

    Roads: GTA West Corridor—Highway 413

People want what they want, and what has been achievable historically in this country. Whether we like it or not, the Canadian dream has never been to drive to work at 4AM to avoid traffic and tolls. What happens to the children of these people who have to take the 407 at 4am to avoid the...

    Toronto Sherway Gardens Phase 1 Infill | 149.3m | 45s | Diamond Corp | Hariri Pontarini

Unless a full on subway is built, I don't see the patterns changing from going NOrth/South to Bloor to connect to a subway. It takes too much time to move east/west.

    Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

I believe you are over complicating something as simple as a short turn. Short truns are common, happen every day on TTC routes. There are turn around points that can be used. You're implying that the regular testing doesn't test for things like short turns. We often close section of Line 1 and...

    Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

I mean yes? Are you serious? When you're half a decade after the original scheduled opening, and there's still no date in sight, I surely would hope and expect that they would rewrite the plan and try something to get it working for at least some people. The "do nothing and wait" approach is...

    Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

This reads "unless us rich folk at Yonge and Eg get to ride, you low brow people of Mount Dennis sure as hell won't either." to me. There are ways to segment without touching or even going through Yonge/Eg

    Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

It bothers me so much that the Metrolinx higher ups won't open anything until we have the line fully complete. Open segments that are functioning, even if it means not operating Yong/Eng station, which some people think is the problem. The mismanagement is unreal, baffles my mind how this...

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

I'm very unhappy with TTC's decision to reduce service on the 40 Dundas bus - it already had abysmal service levels (the part between Jane and Kipling). There is no North/South transit in the area of Prince Edward (to connect to Bloor), with new condos, townhouses, seniors homes, and many more...

    Roads: GTA West Corridor—Highway 413

There's nothing novel about this highway when compared to any other 400 series Highway Ontario has built. The only real difference Is the people it serves. We don't really see as much opposition to the 400 extension to Sudbury, or the Bradford bypass even, or even when the east GTA 400 series...

    Toronto Etobicoke Civic Centre | 75.82m | 16s | CreateTO | Henning Larsen

This area moves to Ward 2 / Etobicoke Centre with the 2023 redistribution, assuming Municipal Wards continue to follow Federal and Provincial boundaries.

    Roads: GTA West Corridor—Highway 413

Greeks are white, and the Danforth is a much smaller geographic area than Brampton+Milton, and Greeks make only 3.7% of Toronto Danforth (not sure if there are demographics for just the Danforth, but either way, it's nowhere near the amount of South Asians in Brampton). There's a growing...

    Roads: GTA West Corridor—Highway 413

The highway will serve Brampton and Milton, both have the highest % of South Asians in Ontario.

    Roads: GTA West Corridor—Highway 413

The government should start by letting crown employees work where they live - this means nurses, teachers, police officers, municipal workers, work in their own municipalities. Start transfer processes. Having said that, I do think the highway is needed, if not it's just going to get worse. The...

Dundas St Rapid Transit (Metrolinx, Mississauga, Halton Region, CoT)

Transit on a grid = good planning. Toronto and the GTA has this obsession with suburban style sprawl rapid transit lines that twist and turn, and avoid poor areas to hit wealthier neighbourhoods. A continuous line along one street (Dundas) is good.

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

I wonder why we aren't seeing a scaling back of things like the elaborate condo amenities, huge pools, saunas, gyms, rooms for massage, sports, these massive staircases and chandeliers, all these things add up, and appear in most new builds. People also don't want 1k in condo fees or special...

    Toronto IQ Condos Phase 3 | 140.2m | 42s | Remington Group | Giannone Petricone

Yeah, the other phases took longer than normal to sell even in the optimal market, so they will likely hold off for a while.
