    Toronto Eglinton Line 5 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

The press release explicitly says the LRT stations will open "along with the rest of the line at a later date", so no, the LRT opening on the 16 seems very, very unlikely.

I don't think I could ever fully relax in a spa that looks like a place John Wick is about to have a gunfight in.

    Toronto Pinnacle One Yonge | 351.85m | 106s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

Well, here's hoping the scotiabank arena collapses on thursday evening then

Toronto GO Transit: Davenport Diamond Grade Separation | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Unless I mistake your meaning, there is a signalized crossing at Davenport Rd and Caledonia Park Rd, so it's part of the way there at least.

Toronto Royal Ontario Museum | Daniel Libeskind + HPA

I assume it's Neom, the horrible Saudi Arabian vaporware planned city.

    Toronto Old City Hall Proposals

I've definitely seen lineups out the door for the TD Centre in past years, as well as huge waits for other marquee sites like RC Harris or the Don Jail. It's not new, though attendance probably took a dip after the pandemic started; perhaps it's just catching up to 2019 levels now.

Toronto 90 Mike Myers Drive | 12.05m | 3s | Hellenic Home for the Aged | MC Architects

Dear diary: today I learned there's a "Mike Meyers Drive"

    Toronto Bloor Collegiate Replacement School | 16.8m | 4s | TDSB | Snyder

It's incoherent and deeply ugly and each choice of materials is worse than the last. I think the only thing I really like about it is the choice of typeface for "bloor ci". What a missed opportunity.

Cycling: West Toronto Railpath (City of Toronto, Phase II Proposed)

If memory serves the path went in when they eliminated the Dufferin jog and extended the rail bridge; the park space on either side went in as part of the adjacent developments. I don't know if it was ever formally "opened" or if the fences just fell down while we wait forever for Metrolinx to...

    Toronto Magellan Centre | 29.64m | 7s | Magellan Community Charities | Snyder

Shoring continues and there was a crane base in place when I walked by this morning.

    1286 College St.

Ooh, i would love to see the Tim Hortons plaza go, if only to cut down on the number of times I narrowly miss getting hit by a car when walking by. (Though I don't know where the juggalos will get their sodas, if that happens. The S Market has a weirdly vast selection of Faygo)

    Toronto House of Assembly | 61.85m | 17s | Marlin Spring | Graziani + Corazza

It's overall pretty sharp (especially for Marlin Spring), but it also really falls down on the east side. This is the view from Dora Ave; i realize a crash wall is required facing the railway tracks, but this blank white treatment is pretty grim. Even just continuing the brick panels would have...

    Toronto The Hearn District | 52.64m | 11s | Cortel Group | PARTISANS

Heck yeah. I loved seeing the Unsound festival here during Luminato, the vibes were impeccable. (Sorry for the potato-quality photos, my 2015 phone was not up to the task).

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

Well, it's not like any of this is actually based on evidence or reason. It's just pure grievance politics.

    Toronto Marlow | 113.41m | 33s | Fitzrovia | Turner Fleischer

Cladding continues on the corner, and the start of grey brick on the south building. It’s… fine i guess

    Ontario Line construction, i believe.
