Do we have any insight into whether the work on the 510 streetcar ROW is completed, or will it be delayed again?

March starts this Saturday. Will the TTC keep its promise that the 510 streetcar will resume in March? Or will we have to endure more of the failed “bus priority lane” for even longer?

When will construction be complete? This site has destroyed the neighbourhood with noise, dust, construction lane diversions and closures. It would be a huge relief for this to come to an end.

This is Toronto. In three years China can build 1000 subways and we can’t even get to 30% design.

This is a great idea and I certainly will send in this suggestion. It’s good to see someone on this forum cares about this issue. One of these days a pedestrian on the crosswalk at King and Spadina is going to be killed by a moron driver.

Certainly removing the stop in front of your house will drive down costs. But that would inevitably lead to your freak out about the Downtown Latte-sipping NDP Elites not Respecting Scarborough and killing your Subways, Subways, Subways. We certainly can’t have that.

I’d like to see you deal with this kind of noise every night for two years. I’d like to see you work, spend time with family and friends, when your mind and body are slowly falling apart from lack of sleep. Obviously you have no empathy for other human beings.

Imagine the situation our city would be in if every neighborhood near a surface transit route and their councillor went up in arms, protesting that they “deserve” underground transit just like other parts of the city that already have it. Following that logic, we wouldn’t have ANY streetcar...

The expansion project was actually called the Toronto-York Spadina Subway Extension. So essentially it WAS called the Toronto-Vaughan subway.??‍♂️
