Thanks JU For getting “The rest of the Story” about no train testing. . About the rubber. Is this the rubber placed underneath the tracks themselves to cushion them for less noise and a smooth ride? I saw it being placed all the way from Ionview to Vic Park and wherever tracks were being laid.

I found the Soffville line handy as I was close to the Agincourt Stn. . It used to stop at Danforth Stn. I got off there so I could go east to Oshawa to get the GO 88 bus to Peterborough. Now I have to take Warden to the Subway to Main then the walk to Danforth. How about a stop at Scarborough...

You probably have a lot of VHS rail tapes. If you have the one “Toronto Trains and Towers”, it contains video of the station as it was about 1994. I noticed all the trains had an additional sound to them when in automatic train control from Sheppard West to Vaughn. It sounded a bit like a pickup truck with heavy duty tires on pavement. When the trains came into or left a station it was most noticeable. Now,when the trains left Sheppard West...

    Toronto Lower Simcoe Ramp | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto

None that I could see. But now that is becoming a park with the ramp removed, taggers are more likely to do so.Just like advertisers like to put their ads in places where the public can see them, taggers do the same.Best example is taggers have painted every bridge, rail control box, fence and...

    Toronto Lower Simcoe Ramp | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto

Yes. Thanks for posting. I was just down there and was talking to a foreman about when the pillars are to be removed. He said THEY ARE ALL STAYING FOR ART! I can just see the graffiti and taggers waiting with their paint cans when the park opens. I thought a park was for all greenery, not 50%...
