Is there any particular time in the day that they run? I live in a place where I overlook the Yonge line, and just out of curiosity, I must have looked at about 30 trains pass. And I have used the Yonge line 5 or 6 times a week since the new train began service Never seen one.

    Jack Layton 1950-2011 R.I.P.

I've really appreciated your posts here, so I think you could be a great leader of the Official Opposition. But you would have a large field to beat.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Next_New_Democratic_Party_leadership_election

    G-20 Summit in Toronto

I suppose that acronimic obscenity was aimed at me, for posting the video above. Fortunately if I think that there is a possiblity of design in the way that Harper spent $1B, I'm free to post that here. In that I am supported by a large section of thinking in this city. If those who would...

    G-20 Summit in Toronto

This news network seems to provide a different slant from the Tory propaganda networks we have in Toronto. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hQ_8Rgoht4 I haven't seen it posted anywhere else in this thread. Harper was the person in charge, and it's time put the blame where it belongs.

    G-20 Summit in Toronto

http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=455347&id=681970186&l=83cd8e10af This is a link to a Facebook page, which has images of the guy who trashed the cop car, whom many people suspect of being a cop himself. The person seems quite identifiable. If the police wanted to catch him, surely they...

    G-20 Summit in Toronto

Below is a link to a Facebook page for a demo at Police Headquarters at 5:30. For the last week, we have been such a police state in Toronto, that I don't know if I'll have the guts to go. So if anyone out there does: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=132685853418711&index=1

    G-20 Summit in Toronto

I've got better things to do with my time than try to prove a point to someone who twists words, in an attempt to prove an argument. If anyone else is reading this, they can see the video and judge for themselves.

    G-20 Summit in Toronto

The video showed that they incited it, by carrying large rocks approaching the police line. The SQ admitted it when they acknowledged that these provocateurs were their agents. If you hold out for a statement from the SQ that they broke the law by using agents provocateurs, and are therefore...

    G-20 Summit in Toronto

There are numerous Google references to the SQ admitting they planted agents withing the demos, and there are also numerous links to the video showing them dressed as the Black brigade approaching the police lines holding large rocks, as if they were going attack the police with them. But of...

    Next Mayor of Toronto?

At least he promises the best. All we have here are sycophantic polliticians ready to accept all the glass and steel highrise monstrosities that someone can make a buck from. Any candidate who claims to represent change, only pushes hot button issues like smashing unions or putting cyclists in...

    OpenFile.ca

Thanks, US, as I see names shortened on another forum I follow. With these partners, it does seem like a meagre living. I always think that 'he who pays the piper calls the tune,' but I don't see any nefarious partners behind this so far.

    OpenFile.ca

I looked at many of the articles there, but I couldn't see how it is supported financially -- no adverts. Yet it seems to have some journalists who are used to being paid for their work.

How to improve life in Greater Toronto?

He lived here for a few years in car friendly Etobicoke, but has spent the vast majority of his life in the US, and now lives there again except for baseball season, so he is an American. And if he thinks that the majority of politicians in Toronto would admit that they want Spadina (as we used...

How to improve life in Greater Toronto?

I have been a fan of Gaston, but this is really makes it difficut to wish him well. The others make motherhood statements, but Gaston seems like an American who just doesn't get Toronto. He knows about managing a team into the World Championship, and he knows even more about hitting, bu, he's...

New York planning chief offers tips

See the post above yours. We can also judge whether it is really working by the amount of affordable housing, improved parkland, etc. developers have provided. Obviously not much. Apparently it's once again the Province of Ontario that puts us in the position of a hick town, through...
