I have a quick question for the trinity bellwoods residents. Did your development register with the city when you moved in or is there a period of phantom rent? If so, how long did they say that process would take?
The island can be moved, you can actually peel off the footboard under the island to see how much give you have from the electrical box which is under the island. In my case, I moved it over almost two feet and 3-4 inches closer towards the kitchen without any problems or without pulling on...
The problem only exist in extreme cold weather which I think is normal? I'm not sure.....I will ask around during the board voting period to gauge everyone's experience.
In terms of the board candidates, I see one direct conflict of interest with one member wokring for GGH but I don't see...
To respond back to you.
In my experience, the response time has been phenominal, they respond first thing in the morning and often do a physical check of the defiency the same day. Depending on the deficiency, it has taken 1 day to a few months so far (and waiting) to actually fix some of...
what temperature do you guys keep unit @?
I brought it down from 21-22 to 19 and it seemed to help as well as pointing the vents towards the windows which helped.
Mike from GG left me a humidity meter and it is reads around 55% humidity +/-......not sure if that is normal.
My bedroom...
Change of topic but is anyone have a lot of issues with condensation in the windows??
I'm finding that I constantly have to wipe down the window edges to prevent water from dripping down in the into the hardwood.....
Anyone else have this problem?
I haven't heard from my lawyer what the final closing cost will be. I had everything (to the best of my knowledge) capped but I'm anticipating a 2-3% of the purchase price as an estimated number for the costs. Hopefully it is less.
I'm confused here, if your moving in now, aren't you expected to pay the occupany fee?
Also, what is everyone's expecation for closing cost (assuming everything has been capped?)
Keep in mind that the lobby isn't the finished product, I think there will be art work going on the walls and if the renderings are any indication, there might be some playful chandeliers and some plant life added to warm it up a bit. I see the receptable holes on the ceiling that should hold...
I can't believe the debate about the mech box, its a mechanical box, its a necessary evil, like others posted before, it was part of the original design, I really doubt people will look at the building and even comment on the box.
X Condo Value?
I'm curious to what the general consensus is as to what the going rate $PSF is in this building?
I thought X2 served as a good barometer for a price benchmark and since it was so popular and since X is essentially sold out, I'd be curious to get your thoughts on what the going...
An LCBO would be great, any kind of higher end grocery store would serve the building justice, as practical as they are, I'd hate to see dry cleaners, convenience stores etc ruin the esthetics of the building.
The initial plans though are for a grocery store so it'll just depend on which one.
I would agree with condo observer. It's pretty hard to compare anything in the area since there are very little new builds in the area. My guess based on the preview price is that it is pretty accurate and still leaves some room for profit though margins may not be as healthy as earlier years
