    Toronto The HUB | 258.46m | 59s | Oxford Properties | Rogers Stirk Harbour

The office at 222 Bay is about 1/4 full. They only have MSN and Bing working out of there since they sold their sales team to AOL a few years ago.

Great read, thanks so much for sharing this.

Terri-O's was my favourite dive bar in the city. Great place to go for drinks before/after a show at DMH.

    Jarvis and Dundas

That intersection is appalling on every corner, there's no where to look away to that isn't as bad as the True Love Cafe. Besides, there's plenty of grit left all the way from Yonge to Parliament. Plenty.

Annie's is gone, on to Alphie's and The New Buffalo Restaurant...Hopefully.

You can bet no one on the commission lives near Queen and Sherbourne.

The Parliament Beer Store is by far the best one east of Yonge and west of Jones. The empty returns are at least separate from the purchase area, and you can grab some beers off a shelf. That being said, I never go there, either. The closest one to my house is the Gerrard store, and I bring a...

It ebbs and flows, but shuttering Alfie's would be a good start (you'd want to close the "New Buffalo Restaurant" simultaneously, or else it would just move there). Queen and Parliament is noticeably less dodgy since Annie's closed. anyone else see this? 28 stories, just West of the Berkley...

    Cabbagetown

^ Hell yes, it would be! But new builds tend to be in the fashion I talked about earlier. The city should have way more rules around how building on high streets are built. It's going to start looking like Markham around here, if we're not careful. Skeezix, thanks for pointing that out. D-doye.

    Cabbagetown

If only. Any new, sizable LCBO would follow the same design as they do in the burbs, quick disposable warehouse build, with tall ceilings, and no second floor (see: New Shoppers on Danforth just east of Broadview)

    Regent Park

Well, yes. However, the city has a lot riding on this project being a success. I'm sure they're hoping to make a new normal, and having those bad elements back right away could scare off the private buyers, and all this time and money would be for naught. They need to set a new tone in regent...

Moss Park / Queen & Sherbourne

The 3 story building just west of McDermott motors has been for rent for at least 5 years or so (google maps here). A Pharmasave is now open on the second floor?! How many pharmacies is that for the area? On Parliament at Queen (and a small one on the south side of Queen just west of...

King Place is better than Butter Chicken Factory by a sizable margin. Maybe not as nice to get to (that intersection, boy howdy), but the food is fantastic.
