    Toronto 2280 Dundas West | 127.5m | 38s | Choice Properties | Hariri Pontarini

Great summary! I attended the meeting and part of the community group. I think you are quoting me here as I had the opportunity to ask the question about connections to transit, the importance of the bridge and expressed my enthusiasm for the original plan and the proposed density. I also...

    Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

Thanks Solid Snake for the quick reply! I meant how many additional minutes would be added the commute time for vehicles for the proposed surface section of the lrt (from Kennedy to Don Mills) vs. commuting times for vehicles for that section today? Do we have those numbers?

    Transit City Plan

Thanks nfitz for the useful link. So with council approving 3 of the 4 projects (Finch West, Eglinton, Scarborough RT conversion) are we to assume that any leftover funding will be earmarked for whatever the experts believe is to be done on Sheppard? Lastly, what will be the connectivity for the...

    Overnight visitor parking?

You can usually park on most main streets over night. The only issue is moving the car in the AM, as streets have no parking invoked at 7AM. Works well for a Saturday night park as parking usually isn't enforced until 1PM.

    Toronto Maple Leaf Square | 185.92m | 54s | Lanterra | KPMB

Apologize for the mistake. Shows you I haven't been to a game in a while. I was actually speaking about the section on bremner between the foot of the ACC to about Rees street. Would be cool if there were a bunch a patio bars and pubs that would just come alive - with a combo of closing down the...

    Toronto Maple Leaf Square | 185.92m | 54s | Lanterra | KPMB

With that said, would have been nice to line bremner with a few sports bar and really make this street the destination for playoff hockey/basketball/baseball (of course none of those seem to possible at the moment; go jays..)

    Toronto Ripley's Aquarium of Canada | 13.11m | 2s | Ripley Entertainment | B+H

And good news as well; however I always felt an aquarium project would be best suited a little bit further south along the waterfront. Besides the obvious connection to Lake Ontario, it serves as an attraction to the waterfront - an area that is somewhat devoid of attractions at the moment...

    Richmond Hill Yonge Line 1 North Subway Extension | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

People seem to forget that the ONLY reason why the DRL has come back into vogue after 20 years, has been because of 'these outer communities'! Perhaps its in our best interest to embrace this pressure and encourage more of it....just a thought.

    Toronto Bloor Street Revitalization | ?m | ?s | Bloor-Yorkville BIA | architectsAlliance

Even better when these trees mature! The double rows is a nice effect, off hand where else in the city (if at all) do we have this? I'm pretty sure Queen's Quay will get this. This project is shaping up quite well. Thanks for all the pictures guys.

B.C.'s billboard pokes fun at Toronto

This exact sentiment has been echoed time and time again on these boards (one that I can personally attest to after spending some time out West). I know whenever we speak about inhabitants of other cities, the 'I don't want to make any generalizations' warning comes up...but I really wonder if...
