That's not my experience, but I also never take the E-bikes

The old and new apps do send notifications to my watch when I take and return bikes, but not a timer per se. I have the 45 min annual pass, so I rarely need to pay attention to time for most of my rides. Even rides to work (~8.5-10k, route dependent) top out at about 32 min. The slightly higher...

I noticed the Lyft Inc. as well. I like that we can now report issues with the bikes directly, rather than relying on the "broken" button on the docks. (Nevermind, I just found this does exist in the current app under history). Anyway, looking forward to testing the app

    Toronto Lower Don Lands Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

Not sure this is the best place for this, but the Cherry drawbridge is stuck open . I thought at first this was from 5 years ago, but nope! From the above article (and X/Twitter):

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

No service at Pape Station on Line 2 this weekend for Ontario Line work (from Twitter/X)

Views from the double bridge on Commissioners today, looking north. The water level is quite high!

    Toronto Union Pearson Express | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | MMM Group Limited

I agree with making non-Pearson fares on the UPX higher than they currently are. This would drive some riders to GO. (Iirc Union-Pearson fares are highest, and the others are relatively low)

    Toronto Union Pearson Express | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | MMM Group Limited

Same. I'll have to look at it, but it may be better to take subway to Main, Go from Danforth to Union, then UP to Pearson. Though UP every 30 min at Bloor isn't too bad

    Toronto Leslie Barns | ?m | ?s | TTC | SAI

I've seen the signs posted by the Barns the past few weeks, but I've never heard them. Or at least I didn't recognize them as air canons if I did

    Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

In an environment where people have to file Freedom of Information requests for trivial things, it's not surprising that we can't just find this documentation. The default should be to post such information, especially for public realm works.

    Toronto Lower Don Lands Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

It's 1.5 km from Cherry and Mill St (Distillery loop is about 100m south of there) from Rebel. That's a 15-20 min walk. I'd certainly be fine to do that! In fact the last time I saw anything at Rebel (311 in 10+ years ago) we walked to King st after the show. Edit: added Distillery Loop

My dude, read back in the thread rather than coming out all aggressively. It started as a bit of a joke, and it's continued.

Hopefully they won't have to close the bridge over the tracks and the Don Mills underpass to build the ramp

    GO Transit Electrification | Metrolinx

Last weekend I was running down the Bayview extension and I noticed that they've put electrification warning signs on the upgraded fencing along the Don Sub. I don't see any other sources of electricity, so maybe they're being really forward thinking? 🤔 😂 Photo south of Dundas.

    Toronto Sunnybrook Plaza Redevelopment | 56.92m | 16s | RioCan | Turner Fleischer

There's been very little work happening in the past couple of weeks. Photo from this morning. First time I've seen a work truck this week.

I was surprised the stairs weren't removed when they did the path above the stairs a few years back

    The Coming Disruption of Transport

I recognize that we're the exception, but we've never owned a car. I live a five minute walk from 2 subway stops. I use Zipcar for the occasional short rental, and TTC or taxi/Lyft/Uber for short trips. I rent cars occasionally or (more recent) have used Turo for longer trips. We need to plan...

    GO Transit: Corridor Studies

Well done! This is a great April 1 post because you've posted so many excellent (and real) maps over the past months/years, and because it's obviously a joke. 👏👏👏

    Quebec-Windsor Corridor

But then everyone notices the social problems with the lack of spending. There's a whole thread on the issue of homelessness on the TTC. And for a supposedly fiscally conservative government, they have done a poor job of managing the public purse: structural deficits here (cut to gas tax and...
