    Toronto Cosburn TOC | ?m | 13s | IO | SvN

Agreed 100% on the park. You could maintain the same floorspace but redistribute the “park space” to add an extra 2 metres of sidewalk and trees/greenery around most of the perimeter. Would help with the streetwall too.

    Toronto Ontario Line 3 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

About 5 years by my account, may have started rollout even sooner – I mainly ride the Canada Line.

Toronto East Harbour GO and Ontario Line Station | 14.35m | 1s | Metrolinx

Watch here between 30-40s mark and you’ll see how the Bala sub will shift overtop of the open cut portal section once it is covered.

Roads: Redway Road Extension / "Leaside bypass"

Yes, you would need to level a lot of land and trees to get a road through here, minimum ~8m, while a MUP could take up just 2.1m. And yes, it’s not easy to see on satellite views with all the tree coverage but the Don Branch cuts right through and may be active again in the distant future.

Roads: Gardiner Expressway catch-all, incl. Hybrid Design (2015-onwards)

The first link on the City’s Gardiner rehab page is a ~10 year old slide deck with a timeline suggesting all sections would be done by 2024. However, as I’ve mentioned before in this thread, even with the speedy timeline above the York to Jarvis section was scheduled later for 2035.

    Toronto TOOR Hotel / The 203 Residences on Jarvis | 108.2m | 32s | Manga | Arcadis

I have no problem with the marking, would have preferred more recognizable branding or something more artistic than the massive serifed TOOR. It’s bland and jarring in my opinion.

    Toronto The Whitfield | 130m | 39s | Menkes | Giannone Petricone

Some lights are on but nobody’s home.

Richmond Hill Yonge Line 1 North Subway Extension | Metrolinx

Unfortunately, the public are very lowly valued stakeholders in this, which is a shame. We aren’t seeing progressive design iterations and providing feedback the same way the “clients” are. The final product won’t be a sudden, unpleasant surprise for Metrolinx as they directly influence the...

    Toronto Ontario Line: Exhibition Station | ?m | 2s | Metrolinx | HDR

Great news. Thanks for finding out because the slide deck itself has very little new information. Here’s a link for all from the Document Centre: Exhibition Open House Presentation October 4 2025 Just a couple photos worth highlighting, here’s the oddly deep foundation of the north entrance...

    Toronto Ontario Line 3 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

When laying blame here it is important to consider the “Pape Tunnel and Underground Stations” contract was awarded nearly 16 months later than the “Southern Civil, Stations and Tunnel” contract. I couldn’t say why but it seems an obvious oversight.

    Toronto Celeste Condominiums | 137m | 40s | Alterra | Sweeny &Co

    They’re pouring at floors 33/34.

    Toronto Pinnacle One Yonge | 351.85m | 106s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

Up top I believe they’re pouring walls of floor 92 right now. When the climbing system is moved is up enough to expose floors 90/91, probably by end of October, the building taper will begin to be appear much more obvious.

    Toronto 49 Ontario Street | 160.05m | 50s | Dream + CentreCourt | B+H

Poor coordination between city, bikeshareTO and contractors as the dock still appears active but it’s fenced in with 2 great bikes begging to be ridden! Although, the fencing doesn’t look particularly secure so I suppose some tired riders could have forced their way in to offload.

    Montréal Transit Developments

@Northern Light it’s a good comparison to see normalized and with better context. With or without it I think most still feel disappointed for Toronto when you compare the total length of rapid rail being delivered by each project. Sending you a couple extra notes in DMs.

    Toronto Eglinton Line 5 Crosstown West Extension | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

These walls are temporary for the construction duration, there’s zero case to make for solar fences.

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

This project has always been about increasing capacity. Rush hour bus headways on Finch could not be reduced further.

Roads: Gardiner Expressway catch-all, incl. Hybrid Design (2015-onwards)

The phase 4 rehab section is Grand Magazine to York. The condition of the concrete box girder section between York and Jarvis was deemed ‘good enough’ to schedule the work for 2035.
