    Toronto Ontario Place | ?m | ?s | Infrastructure ON

Was walking in Trillium park and noticed these new structures currently being worked on. They are bird feeders designed for barn swallows. Likely some other species may nest on top but the bottoms are set for barn swallows. no birds have set up yet as it’s still under construction but...

    Toronto Ontario Line: King-Bathurst Station | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | HDR

So does this mean they will be turning 668 King Street into a station too? I am happy they are keeping these heritage buildings but it does suck losing two structures that make for really nice retail/restaurant atmospheres. On the other hand, they will be cool subways stops :)

    Rail Deck Park (?, ?, ?)

They gave Joe Cressey some air time during their presentation tonight and he summarily said the city still intends to develop the entire area as parkland. Sounds like the city has not given up on getting the full park yet.

Stackt Container Market (28 Bathurst St, future park)

Does anyone know if this park will be part of the future Lower Garrison Creek Park? When I look at plans for LGCP, it appears it would be located on the south side of the Bathurst Bridge, spanning both east and west of the bridge. So, I am wondering if this Stackt park, which is north of...

If they had to cover the podium, i wish they would have done something more interesting like they did with the W Hotel. At least that has some texture and pop. Photo credit - thaivic.

    Toronto June Callwood Park | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto | gh3

Was at the Remembrance ceremony at Fort York so thought i would check out the progress. They are laying down new rubber in the playground and other areas but i don’t see much greenery. The workers told me they are laying some soil and plants on the north end but it appears the rest will be...

Toronto Bathurst Quay Revitalization | ?m | 2s | City of Toronto | Kearns Mancini

i was in the area so dropped by to check out the light test. it looks great. you can really see the potential that these silos can bring this area with effective lighting. kudos to all involved and if they can get a restaurant and/or patio on top of these silos, it would have one of the...

Waterfront Transit Reset Phase 1 Study

This is interesting. That Lakeshore/Bathurst intersection is overly confusing to people so this may help rectify some of the issues. In particular, preventing cars travelling south on Bathurst from turning right onto Lakeshore. Currently, the only thing preventing people from turning right...

Perhaps it's the eternal optimist in me but here are a few things I noted from their presentation last week which make gave me some hope that things may look up for OP. 1. Lisa McLeod mentioned that they were not finished and more partnerships could be coming on in the future. Perhaps this...

    Toronto Ontario Place | ?m | ?s | Infrastructure ON

This may not be as bad as it initially sounds. They are only getting the West Island to work with so if their trail space is 1/20 of all Ontario Place, it would be a much larger percentage of the area they are working with. When I looked at the render, it seems at least part of the trail...

While the towers certainly do not turn heads, the courtyard is coming together nicely. There is a decent retail presence there already with a few restos still to come. As mentioned in an earlier post by others, a Great Lakes Brewpub is also coming and will occupy a large portion of the space.
