    New GIGANTIC Blue Bins

At the open house I attended last week, the question of overflow bags was brought up. The Solid Waste manager who was in attendance seemed adamant they would not pick up plastic bags with recycling. The one exception though was cardboard to big to fit inside the bin. They will pick up if left...

Toronto Spadina Subway Extension Emergency Exits | ?m | 1s | TTC | IBI Group

In a way, I hope this extension doesnt happen. The BRT to YorkU will be more than sufficient. Sorbara pushed this plan ahead to further his own (and friends) financial position, as they own most of the land where the line runs through. I suspect Flaherty can see this and will give TTC an out...

    New GIGANTIC Blue Bins

Sure this solution might work for single or couple households who throw out very little garbage and recycle. What about us folks with families who need a large bin but have the same space issues. This is not an option for many of us. Let us use our bags and keep the bin for someone else.

    Coffee Time

The CT on Broadview south of Danforth seems OK enough. Mostly seniors though, it was alot busier when the smoking room was open. I miss the deli restaurant that was there before, the name escapes me now. I found it a little pricey at the time, but the cabbage rolls were delicious, just like...

    Toronto's Libraries Thrive!

The last couple of times at the Pape/Danforth branch in the lounge up front, I was able to get online, the signal was not great, but enough to get on successfully. Its amazing how many wireless networks are open access.

    Toronto First Canadian Place Rejuvenation | 298.08m | 72s | Brookfield | MdeAS Architects

I don't miss it one bit. I remember us eager beavers would'nt leave the place till everyone left first. It was expected the rookies stayed to the end which sometimes lasted to midnight. ughhh and those suits we wore all frigging day.

    Photo Of The Day

If you are really interested, read this story from Bruce Bell at The Bulletin. On those times when I find myself enjoying a slice of pepperoni pizza at the Pizza-Pizza at Church and Wellington it never ceases to amaze me that even though this is one of Toronto’s most historically...
