I think people should compare Trump to all the large crapy buildings in Toronto and then judge because Toronto doesn't have a lot of nice buildings like in Chicago or New York. Everyone commenting negatively on Trump Toronto think they live in New York or something. :cool:

trump toronto is proof that people do whats popular rather than whats right. I always do what i think is right. If trump is an embarrassment to the city than 99% of all the buildings in toronto are an embarrassment. :cool:

why is the trump tower a 4 star??? who ever gave this a 4 star on urbantoronto.ca is going to look like a idiot later especially when so many other crappy buildings are rated 5 star and Trump is going to one of the best buildings in the city. Not that i like it. :cool:

I think a casino in Toronto would be great for the city and Ontario because all the people playing on Pokerstars.com and other sites would pump the money directly into the province when they play at the casino instead of playing online. Plus a casino would create jobs which would pump even more...

building LRT along sheppard instead of an extended subway would be stupid. Traveling along a 4 stop subway line and then transferring to a 4-5 stop LRT is a waste of time and would create a bottle neck. the cost to the economy, tax payers, would be more if the LRT was built

the cost of having LRTs instead of subways is big. first of all the economic costs would be due to gridlock of increased traffic because of the LRTs. the maintenance costs of LRTs is more expensive due to erosion of the track because of weather. the cost of subways is cheaper in the long run...

I was against subways before because they were too expensive but now that know that they are cheaper in the long run, subways are the best bet. If the tax payers want subways, and if they are willing to pay for them, and if they are cheaper in the long run, then the answer is simple...subways...

if these rules don't get changed then toronto will always be dull and boring. tall buildings make cities exciting and cool and help make cities money through tourism. Tall buildings help draw tourism to chicago and new york and could help toronto one day as well. I hope the toronto haters at...
