    Toronto Union Station Revitalization | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto | NORR

Maybe the accessible route is to the right, although the most direct route is to the left. That's my guess. Or they just haven't came about updating the signage - the two tabs looks to be add-ons.

    Toronto TYSSE: Pioneer Village Station | 11.89m | 1s | TTC | aLL Design

I don't think it's just the "conquerors" who have issues with name changes. Over half of Toronto are visible minorities and the reconciliation movement technically has little to nothing to do with them. The most they can do is to recognize indigenous people had populated this land before the...

Toronto Yonge Sheppard Centre Renovations and Expansion | 123.13m | 35s | RioCan | BDP Quadrangle

There is a Starbucks inside the Longos; unless you are speaking of a standalone store.

    Wayfinding signage ideas

    - I said nothing about the T logo. - same as the above - Agree - Also agree - Might have to do with the bilingual issue. Is TTC going that route as well? It'd become "station Queen's Park Station". - Likely a design choice. As example, different rapid transit agencies in Tokyo approach the...

    Wayfinding signage ideas

Underground IS one of thier their rapid transit mode. They also have all other roundels such as Overground's. TfL roundels Putting TTC's logo is akin to putting TfL's logo. Keep in mind I didn't say anything about the T logo being superior. Please do not put words into my mouth.

    Wayfinding signage ideas

The equivalent to London Underground's signage would mean: 1. some sort of "rapid transit" logo - Canadian example: Montreal has the metro logo and not STM's at their subway station entrances) 2. only station name is shown, no line numbers - Metrolinx's signage already ommits line numbers.

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

The current NYCC situation: GO routes are replicating line 1's role - albeit with less frequency. You don't pay for the YRT/VIVA fare, and the GO fare is actually few cents less. It makes so much sense for those living along NYCC who travel to York Region. Paying another $3.30 to travel...

Could just call it Parkway Forest. The secondary exit is literally there.

Not sure on the history of it, but Yorkdale station was built basically to serve the mall. Station likely would not be built there if it wasn't for the mall's presence. Scarborough Centre station was for the SCC area - akin to North York Centre. Their municipal building is right across from...

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

Richmond Hill line can also have good connectivity if it is integrated with a northern extension of Ontario Line.

    GTHA Transit Fare Integration

Stouffville line alone opens up a lot of trip possiblities if the last/first mile fares are waived. Trips that cost $3.70: Kennedy to Milliken, Agincourt to Unionville, Milliken to Centennial, Milliken to Markham On the Kitchener line, Bloor GO to Weston can replace Weston bus trips. Bloor GO...

    GTHA Transit Fare Integration

I agree the statement "Torontonians have never had it so good as under Ford's governance" is a hyperbole, but I would say the three points you have there would likely have happened regardless of which government we have at Queen's Park (as history has shown).

    Toronto Ontario Line 3 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

    1. Close all streets in downtown core to motor or non-transit traffic. 2. Walk or cycle. 3. Limit most daily activites to the 15min circle. As to whether it's do-able for everyone, that's a different story.

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

The area is called "Jane and Finch". For Eglinton, the area around the station was the former Eglinton village.

Sheppard Line 4 Subway Extension (Proposed)

The thing is, a line 4 extension to the Sheppard West Station has more chance of benefitting someone coming from line 6, than a line 6 extension to Finch Station benefitting someone coming from line 4 - if only one of those can be built at a time. Although, some advocates for line 6 east...

    GTHA Transit Fare Integration

I can't recall if the 905/519 co-fare was part of last year's or any previous years' budget.

    Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

Was your husband comment from before the pandemic? From my memory it wasn't always like that. The situation's only deteriorated during and after the pandemic. It's noticeable when you see ads for events from months before still on display.

    GTHA Transit Fare Integration

Looks like wording is different between what was spoken and what's in print. "...and we have eliminated double fares when taking GO Transit and local transit throughout much of the Greater Golden Horseshoe, and we are expanding this initiative including Toronto."...
