Clarity 100%, Vibrancy 100%, Saturation 50%. Slap on a watermark and you're a photographer. Otherwise nice photo.

Man I love london planes, but the polar vortex is always a possibility. It's a dice roll for sure - high risk, high reward. Maybe the pavers will come in the spring after the salt and dirt? I don't really know much about paving so I could be totally wrong.

Toronto Haven On The Bluffs Condos | 38.71m | 10s | VHL Developments | Master Building

Maybe they'll stain it like they did at The Mercer, that turned out quite nice and resembled this beforehand.

    Toronto Tower at Pier 27 | 114.9m | 35s | Cityzen | a—A

Yes, the parking lot to the west was attained through a land swap and will become a public park.

    Toronto YC Condos -- Yonge at College | 198.42m | 62s | Canderel | Graziani + Corazza

The only possible redeeming feature of this building - the red cladding - is total shit. Is there nothing we can do to prevent these God-awful developments from happening in the future? Why are people only concerned with height when design and materials are far-and-away more impactful in the...

    Toronto Lillian Park | 84.73m | 28s | Collecdev | Kohn Shnier

Really? The City should try to find a way to clean and ship it to the beaches to reclaim some of the lost beachfront after last year. If you've seen Hanlan's you know there's a serious need for sand.

    Toronto Berczy Park Revitalization | ?m | ?s

Toronto really has no idea how to make the city elegant for the winter. Why not cover the dogs in s something festive over top of the wrapping? The City's motto should be "If you ignore winter long enough eventually it goes away"

During the annual awards, can we add a "Grey Wrecking Ball" award? You know, for the building that deserves it most? I'm only half joking.

Wow, Y&E looks like a moderately large city's downtown!

Sucks that they couldn't reach an agreement with the building next door to remove half of the U parking aisle, would have made for a much more usable space.

    Toronto Grid Condos | 157.88m | 50s | CentreCourt | IBI Group

I had zero hopes for this building, and there it goes looking clean and sharp! What a pleasant surprise. I live just around the corner from this building and lamented how it was going to block my view of Pace, but this looks great! Then there's the monster across the street...

Yeah and it's not like green is an expensive colour for glass and spandrel. Seems weird that none of it would be present here.

Really shows you how important the big push for park space was when this was proposed. So much density around here and more to come, yet that's going to be the only open space between Queens Park and Barbara Hall Park.

Solid addition to the downtown core. Materials are a bit shaky, and the crown could be refined, but the massing is right, and the ziggurat is appreciated. The precast pattern adds some visual interest and texture to what would have been another blue condo. 8/10 in my books.

Shape, colour, and an appropriate height? I think we have a winner here folks.

I don't know, I think there's something in the water in Melbourne, that place has some towers and developments that are weird for the sake of it. I kind of liked it in a way, but some of the styles look dated immediately. That said I applaud the intent to try something different, even if the...

At that height I don't think it will look vastly different from the ground. You'll be able to tell which one is taller for sure, but it won't dominate the intersection. Think Commerce Court to First Canadian Place, one is evidently taller, but it's not a neck tilt higher, just a slight glance.

The sand, heat, and wind will not be kind to that structure. The Burj Khalifa is a major energy consumer because it's so exposed to the elements and requires an inordinate amount of energy to cool every day. The Jeddah Tower will be the same. Unless the air is that much cooler way up high and...
