The intensity of the signage these days reminds me of the Spinal Tap “these go to 11”. If I have to squint at all when looking directly at a sign, I will not look at all and that definitely defeats the purpose.

This building looks so nice in the mornings when the sun hits it the right way while driving up York Street. Quality materials are noticeable even from a distance!

December 14 - more signage going up

Tried Mikey’s today, not bad! Wonder if they’ll be open after events at SBA, feels like a missed opportunity that everything is closed by 9pm.

So far we have Arabica Coffee, TD and Sephora as the three upcoming retail tenants in the Bay Concourse, unless I’m missing anyone.

Does anyone know what is taking so long? The signs still say construction to begin in early 2021. Can’t they at least get started on demolishing the concrete bents?

Traffic is already approaching gridlock downtown at rush hour, and this is with the majority of people still working from home. I suspect many will have the same idea of driving to work instead of the GO, many will realize it’s not sustainable, and all will be normal again in a year in terms of...

That entrance has been open for a few months, saves me a good couple minutes vs. having to turn on York.

Can't speak to the reason in this case, but I know at Maple Leaf Square they simply filled in the dug out areas with asphalt/pavement, no attempt to put the stones back in. E-mailed the city about it and nobody seemed to care. Same with other "little things" like maintaining art installations...
