I don't see them putting in another Farm Boy so close...

As I understand it, the spire on St Regis is "architectural" in nature, whereas the spire on FCP is an antenna.

I think 2 of those were amenity floors, which are more complicated. I believe they're into the regular tower floorplates now, so it should move faster. They've also been doing a lot of work at ground level such as prepping Viking Lane for new curbs for the layby and driveway entrance.

I went through there (TTC) today coming off the GO for the first time in months (pouring rain) and yeah, the crowding is an issue. I'd like to think you're right, but who knows what the priorities actually are...

I'm not sure they need the parking lot open for the terminal to be open. I'm sure that's what they're aiming for but I don't think that the incomplete parking lot will be a showstopper for the terminal. Roof on Kiss n Ride, yes.

Those left turns are going to be a bitch. Also, I'm surprised at how sharp that dip is approaching Kipling from the west. But, with this partial opening, I can now clearly see what's basically going to be the new flow from my condo. And it's working. There's enough traffic that's moved to Bloor...

I'm thinking Longo's. Maybe a small regular one or a larger "Market" branded. As long as it's not Rabba.

That date sounds about right. While the structure is largely in place, there's a lot of work to be done on the terminal before first use.

The whole bridge is up, not just the northern section. In your shots the bridge over the tracks was not in place, which it is now. It's a much larger bridge than the earlier section. This happened this weekend.

Also, that's a pretty harsh camera flash in the photo purporting to be "brighter" than today's state.

You're right. Upon closer inspection, it appears to be *gasp* Arial. Looking at the angle of the terminal on the "9" is the tell there. So (Helvetica-knockoff) Arial, which totally makes sense for temporary signage not likely created by an actual designer.

Yes, the "collegiate" type recently installed is much more period-appropriate than the (possibly) Helvetica on the walls.

The "unmitigated" part is what bugs me. This totally could have been handled with even a tiny bit of coordination, but no. We have Kipling Station/Subway torn up with zero enforcement of stopping/parking on St Albans, blocking all traffic and buses, Viking lane about to be torn up, Dundas torn...

As a parent of an incredibly active toddler who lives in one of those buildings, it’s hard. It means that to go to a park at all we have to walk 2 km or drive. It’s unusable without water.

The interesting part is that this notice should be in the kip district thread. It’s going to be a hell of a summer for Viking lane residents. Oh, and no splash pad until August at least.

You nailed it - you're not there daily. I respect that you get around a lot and document all these projects extensively - but you don't live there, so your comments about how the sidewalk is just fine are irrelevant. Just this morning there was approx 40-45 people waiting to cross SB at Subway -...

Actually the east sidewalk was supposed to be finished before above-ground work on the building commenced. If I had put money on them reneging that particular clause of the approved plan...
