the expected start for 2150 lake shore is 2024, if i remember correctly so this station might be started sooner than you think.

also there's no room for parking, they'd have to make it underground which makes it expensive for something metrolinx was super hesitant to even build in the first place because of mimico station. it's also surrounded by towers and a food terminal with roads/gardiner ramps all around it.
