It's definitely an old tower, so I'm happy some investment is being put into it to make it more relevant and appealing to those looking to lease there. I applaud its re cladding as it is a very visible building to those looking at it from Nathan Phillips Square. I actually love this building...

Happy to see this guy get a makeover. One of the uglier buildings downtown - The start white of the new cladding will stand out nicely next to TD Centre.

All residents who call ICE 1 and 2 home (myself included) would love nothing more than to see the end of STRs in the building. The amount of security and extra staff we now have to control the amount of people coming into the building makes you ask yourself - is this a private residence or...

Overall I know Toronto has a tendency to clad everything in glass, however the tint of the glass looks good here and they kept true to the original vertical lines of the tower....this is a success in my opinion!

Overall I actually do like what they are doing to the facade. The strong vertical lines in white to me look very unique. The Simpson Tower always reminder me of ITV's The London Studios in the UK.

The switchover happens this week (started this Monday). The related path forum has info on it. Oddly enough ICE residents aren't receiving notices of related info from the construction site outside out building.

This portion of the PATH is honestly for ICE residents to go to Longos underground. It makes zero sense for a person to travel the convoluted route to get to lower Simone at the end of that park of the path.
