Agreed, but in a lot of smaller venues, it's actually more space-conscious for us to just put a ton of individual small WC's with a shared sink area (or tiny sinks within the individual WC's.) Your point is taken but I don't think anyone is asking for or realistically expecting the building code...

Really opening up the ground floor would have helped to make the visual heaviness of this design more palatable to me but then they did that single-storey black brick portion that reads like a suburban strip plaza wedged into the building and separating it from the sidewalk. I think the design...

Correct. That's not a unit, it's an amenity space, the double height is welcome & warranted.

Not generally a fan of NIMBYism but the residents of the St. Lawrence neighbourhood were right to oppose this project. It proves all their concerns and fears to be true, as far as I’m concerned.

That streetwall/"podium" elevation they did is rough.

“But the mullions are gold, bro!” This thing is a Toronto developer’s wet dream. And that is not a compliment.
