Well, it's just saying construction will start in a year, not when it'll end. ;) ....sigh

From cherry beach. Thinking a monkey might've thrown a bone up in the air on this spot a few thousand years ago. ;)

More likely to be big kids (even old ones like me), than small kids.

Looks like an end of year ocad project to me.

Lots of activity today. They were working on the upper floors on both ends.

Makes sense. After the podium is done it would be likely overkill ...and they must cost a fortune.

Toronto St Lawrence Market North | 25.3m | 5s | City of Toronto | Rogers Stirk Harbour

Those 2 giant cement walls that a mural couldn't even make interesting was the worst part. When it existed I didn't even know if was a public space, I never set foot in it.

Even just the skeleton of this building is infinitely better than that concrete shed that was there before. I'm no hater of brutalism but that thing was fugly.

Oh, there's a good tweet quoted in the article too showing the video board in action:

From the horse's mouth: https://www.sportsnet.ca/mlb/article/what-to-expect-from-blue-jays-new-scoreboard-lights-and-turf/ "...And a fleet of 16 upward-pointing ball-trackers have been installed around the 200 level, illuminating Rogers Centre’s roof when it's closed and about 400 feet of night...

    Toronto Lower Don Lands Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

I've got a question for you guys. I've had the pleasure (sarcastic font) of driving from the west end to lake shore E. lately. They've reduced the lanes going over the Don and demo-ing the south side. The only reference I could find about how they will be linking the 2 is this rendering. I...

    Toronto Forma | 308m | 84s | Great Gulf | Gehry Partners

I for one can't wait for these towers to go up. And I'm glad they don't look like any other of Gehry's buildings too. Of course it would be nice to have NY kind of money to throw at it but I still think it'll be icon and a lesson in 'the devil is in the details'. Edit: err, maybe I mean 'God is...

Nothing new to report here but walking by I was impressed with the office component. Especially the windows and the cieling heights.

I just came here to post what looks like an identical angle. Very impressed with the brickwork too. Good to see this kind of trades being done in the city again too. Can only be a good option for other developers going forward.
