Yes, it was a nice surprise Mustapha. I took photos from all around the rooftop patio , scared to death being up that high and close to the edge by the way. What thread should I post them in Mustapha ?

I talked my way into taking a few shots from the rooftop patio of 50 Lombard Street. I didn't realize until after I got home that this aerial from the Toronto Archives was taken from the same view in 1993. Here is todays view , August 14, 2014

I took this photo from the patio of Milestones at Yonge & Dundas. The reason was I was trying to put together a Then & Now of the same view I have seen from a 1950's or so Toronto Archives photo. I can't seem to track down the original photo , any help would be appreciated.

This was a total mistake. I was driving my daughter to the bus terminal and pulled over at Yonge & Edward to take one photo at Yonge & Dundas looking south. When I got home I realized I shot this in monochrome. Turns out I liked it , kind of like a reverse Then & Now.

Always like looking at the old aerials Goldie. I want to download and make copies of all the 1947 Aerial photos from the Toronto Archives. I have a plan to make a huge map in the garage of them. Like most of my plans my wife thinks I have serious issues so I doubt if it will ever happen.

Scarborough has a lot of nice places to go for a walk, or a hike lrookies. Not much in the way of heritage buildings and as you said , mostly farmland from the days of old. I spent my youth there and always found something to do , lots of good memories.
