    Toronto Lower Don Lands Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

On a semi-related note.... it's always nice to see the support the Jays get from the rest of Canada in other ballparks. The Jays are paying a rare visit to Cincinnati this weekend and there were an amazing amount of Jays fans in the crowd last night, even though it's not particularly close to...

Excellent write-up! Struggling to get 10,000? There are only a handful of times in their 34 year history they have gotten under 10,000. See the above - those teams averaged attendance WORSE than ours during their losing year, and still filled the seats during the playoffs. It's not some thing...

Yeah the price seems quite reasonable to me...

lol (at your comment). You're seriously comparing a random game of a non-Toronto team here with no established fan base to an established team with hundreds of thousands of fans here and decades of history? With absolute certainty I can say the demand for Jays playoff tickets would be through...

    Toronto Lower Don Lands Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

yup... they actually had to struggle to fill their stadiums even DURING the playoffs. you can be sure as hell people would be lined up across the city for tickets if the jays ever made it there. most real baseball fans realize toronto is a great baseball city and the dome will be filled up once...

It's always odd to me to see Toronto from this angle... weird seeing the CN Tower to the right of FCP.

seriously? yes that must certainly be the trend then. nothing to do with the fact the teams sucked during those years. i'm sure if the jays/raptors made the playoffs next year that downward trend would still continue (rolling eyes)

This is a gross misconception that I always hear over and over again. Fact of the matter is, most people I know who are Raptors fans don't watch hockey at all. The Jays/Raptors don't attract 'scraps', they have their own unique and diverse fanbase. Take myself for example, I follow the Raptors...

And the fact that we have more people watching our games than virtually every other team in the league means nothing to you? Yes ticket sales are low, but they are acceptable considering the position we are in. When we are a competing team, people will show up - it's as simple as that (because...

    Toronto Residences at The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto | 207.86m | 53s | Graywood | Kohn Pedersen Fox

Very impressive reviews indeed. I'm glad they're doing well... and very curious to how the reviews of Trump and Shangri-la will compare. Any bets as to which will establish themselves as THE 5-star hotel in Toronto?

Toronto CN Tower: Entry Pavilion, Plaza, Renos | ?m | ?s | CLC | Arcadis

I'm not remotely surprised. This will be a huge draw for years to come

Looks ugly and "unfinished" IMO. It never ceases to amaze me how developers do less work and sell it as trendy. I would hate to have an 'exposed concrete' ceiling. In a factory perhaps, but not in my house.

Ouch. Trump looks especially terrible when approaching Bay/Adelaide from the west along Adelaide, but I thought that was only from up close. But even from afar it looks terrible - the random balcony glass colours and inconsistent and mismatched floor heights are visibly ugly looking even from...

    ah.... relative widths... awesome!

bad bad bad. fixed widths = bad. now on my monitor at home, the forum is shrunk into a tiny section in the middle of the page (width-wise), and surrounded by wasted white space. and to make matters worse, it auto-shrinks pictures into the tiny horizontal space that is now available, so we only...

Was just about to post this. I certainly didn't see this one coming. I had a feeling I would be outraged by his #1 choice... but to be honest, I'm really not.

Seriously... still no font colour fix? It's like a 2 minute job. Not to mention the horrible horizontal scrolling....

    UT's New Format

Yep... it's quite terrible. At work my screen is too narrow, so I have to scroll horizontally to read anything properly. And at home my screen is much wider so half the space is wasted. Fixed widths suck. Not to mention the horrendous font colours. The forums are almost unusable now..

Yes, the majority of Torontonians don't really care about the NFL. However the majority of Torontonians don't care about hockey either, and yet the Leafs are thriving. Such is the benefit of living in a big city with a large population. As has been discussed many times, an NFL team in Toronto...

New forum - bad I don't really see any 'improvements' in the new forum. However there are some glaring negative issues: - The font colours are horrendous and very hard to read - Horizontal scroll bar is present on every page and thread unless i maximize my browser
