    Toronto The Well | 174.03m | 46s | RioCan | Hariri Pontarini

Honestly shocked that they would publicly disclose what brands they're merely in the offer stage with or in discussions with. A lot of potential pitfalls in doing that.

    Toronto 30 Scollard | 231.4m | 61s | Constantine Enterprises | CAL

This cuts so deep. I have this exact same reaction every time.

    Toronto 6464 Yonge | ?m | 50s | Revenue Properties Company | Turner Fleischer

"Revenue Properties" sounds like something an AI would come up with. Why don't they just call themselves "Profit Corp."?

    Toronto Concord Sky | 299m | 85s | Concord Adex | Kohn Pedersen Fox

That's not an ad by Concord. It's just some random broker (dolphin realty?) that likely doesn't care what the tower actually looks like.

    Toronto Theory Condos | 101.49m | 30s | Parallax | Arcadis

I know it's not a popular opinion, but I like this one. The detailing and materials might be lacking, but at a glance the overall design gesture is clean, sharp and clearly communicated.

    Toronto The Pemberton | 215.79m | 68s | Pemberton | a—A

It's indeed a bit odd when you think of it that way, but I'll take it over a tacky and totally meaningless name like "Time & Space".

Jasonzed - Jason Zytynsky Tribute and Photography Award

Just wanted to pass on my condolences to Jason's family. I always looked forward too seeing his great photos.

    Toronto Rise Condos | 76.5m | 23s | Reserve Properties | Graziani + Corazza

Russian School of Math is going in on the Bathurst side, and A&W is going in on the St. Clair side.

    Toronto Wellesley on the Park | 194.15m | 60s | Lanterra | KPMB

The juxtaposition of red brick and glass towers in these photos is giving me strong Distillery District vibes.

    Toronto Theory Condos | 101.49m | 30s | Parallax | Arcadis

I must be a philistine because I like the look of this one. No horizontal mullions, no spandrel glass on the tower, solid (i.e. non-glass) materials, dark colour, simple design gesture... solid B+ in my opinion.

    Toronto The HUB | 258.46m | 59s | Oxford Properties | Rogers Stirk Harbour

Last I heard they were close to securing an anchor, but that was about a year ago. Who knows what's happened since?

    Toronto Forma | 308m | 84s | Great Gulf | Gehry Partners

Yup, that's a different project, owned by Project Core. M+G is Great Gulf's baby now.

    Toronto Aura at College Park | 271.87m | 78s | Canderel | Graziani + Corazza

Pretty sure it's a parody account.

    OMB Reform

    Whoa...

    Toronto The One | 328.4m | 91s | Mizrahi Developments | Foster + Partners

I'm truly mystified by how this news could have elicited such a negative reaction from some here. I've never seen a development (other than ones with horrid designs) attract such relentless skepticism and hate.
  16. Ramako

    Toronto Forma | 308m | 84s | Great Gulf | Gehry Partners

    It's an unusual project.

Toronto Minto Yorkville Park Condos | 75.89m | 25s | Minto Group | IBI Group

I thought this might start to look better as it got taller, but I was wrong.

    Toronto One Bloor East | 257.24m | 76s | Great Gulf | Hariri Pontarini

This is not cheap retail space. Don't be surprised that it takes a long time to lease.

    Toronto Forma | 308m | 84s | Great Gulf | Gehry Partners

Just because you can't think of a reason, doesn't mean there isn't a very good reason. The realities of building, selling and financing something of this magnitude are complex and not typically publicized. It's disingenuous for you to push the narrative that Great Gulf has been sitting on their...
