Great point. The signage was good because I knew what UPX was. If I didn't, it wouldn't help at all! Also, and I think there were varying opinions on this in this thread, but if you're going to say "To Airport" I think it needs to specify "PEARSON Airport" since we have two airports.

I agree. People talk about the convenience and luxury of just hopping aboard the UPX...but for me at Yonge/College, I still have to carry my luggage down two flights of stairs at College Station, and maneuver the crowds, packed subway cars, etc just to get to Union, so it's not like it removes...

I like it as a building, even though it's essentially just another glass box but wrapped with a nice diamond design, but after the hints we were getting I was expecting more. It almost sounded like this was going to either be something evoking older-style iconic buildings (i.e. Empire State)...

Think what you want about the aesthetics of the clock tower, but based on its status as being the place where so many LGBT people first gathered in a public place, (and the terrible abuse they suffered) I think this is a significant piece of history and I'm very happy it's being preserved.
