    Toronto Southcore Financial Centre & Delta Toronto | 159.71m | 45s | GWL | KPMB

But I always hear that Toronto was better "back in the day"!

Toronto Spadina Subway Extension Emergency Exits | ?m | 1s | TTC | IBI Group

Really good way to get boring station names. "Okay kids, to get to the ROM we'll take the GO Train into Front-between-Bay-and-York Station, then the subway up to Charles West Station. Later to get to the Ontario Science Centre we'll get off at Don Mills South-ish Station." If only other cities...

Yonge Street Revitalization (Downtown Yonge BIA/City of Toronto)

Probably not the greatest example, seeing as nobody really cared about it before and now it's famous.

Miscellany Toronto Photographs: Then and Now

This picture: Would make a good "Then and Now" with this picture (or something similar): And a recent Google Streetview for a real "Now":
  7. Red October

Toronto Spadina Subway Extension Emergency Exits | ?m | 1s | TTC | IBI Group

It's "suburb close", because in the suburbs nothing is ever close to anything. Tourists and other people would know that if they want to get to Black Creek Pioneer Village by transit, this would be the closest subway stop. Even better if BCPV operates a small shuttle between the station and the...

    Toronto Queens Quay & Water's Edge Revitalization | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

Our drivers can be so incredibly stupid and bad that if a decently-sized roundabout were to be installed in the city, there'd be so many accidents that people would start arguing roundabouts in general are "poor design".

Toronto Spadina Subway Extension Emergency Exits | ?m | 1s | TTC | IBI Group

Meh, better than "Steeles West" (yawn). As for the stations themselves, I agree they're over-designed. But considering how utilitarian the vast majority of our stations are, it's nice to have some that have some design to them.

    Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

Now you've gone and jinxed it. The province will elect a conservative premier who will "save money" and fill it in.
  13. Red October

    Toronto Bay Adelaide Centre | 217.92m | 51s | Brookfield | KPMB

Confirmed (by a Deloitte employee), it is.
  14. Red October

Or a Starbucks, or a Subway.
  16. Red October

    Toronto Tableau Condominiums | 124.05m | 36s | Urban Capital | Wallman Architects

I was going to say it looks like they took Tableau and put it at Y-D Square.
  17. Red October

    Toronto skyline

I'm not saying I dislike it, because I don't. I would just have expected it to be more mid-rise/developed at least by now.
  18. Red October

    Toronto skyline

It's amazing for such a major urban street how (relatively) low-rise Spadina is between Spadina Crescent and Queen(ish).
  19. Red October

    Toronto Queens Quay & Water's Edge Revitalization | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

When? I'm on St. Clair every day and have never once seen them use it. They only ever use the lanes on either side.
