Man does that guy live in a cave or something? That's ridiculous and definitely not the majority.

    Toronto Sun Life Financial Tower & Harbour Plaza Residences | 236.51m | 67s | Menkes | Sweeny &Co

Crazy to think not so long ago it was just surrounded by surface parking in every direction!

TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

A lot of the time it seems like they don't (cough, 509).
  5. Red October

Toronto The Globe and Mail Centre | 83.21m | 17s | First Gulf | Diamond Schmitt

This building really stands out while travelling eastbound on the Gardiner after one passes Yonge Street. Draws the eyes.

    Toronto Karma Condos | 165.8m | 50s | Lifetime | a—A

I keep trying to convince myself to like the "bump out", but I can't. Not a fan. It just looks like someone messed up the snap feature while rendering it and everyone just sort of went with it.

TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

This frustrates me too. Especially if you're running short on time to get somewhere, the streetcar moving slowly/staying stopped for no apparent reason is infuriating.

    Toronto One Bloor East | 257.24m | 76s | Great Gulf | Hariri Pontarini

From a flight I took last Sunday (only got a chance to upload them today). Sorry about the quality, I forgot my zoom lens, it was through a window, and I was trying not to vomit (facing backwards).

From a flight I took last Sunday (only got a chance to upload them today). Sorry about the quality, I forgot my zoom lens, it was through a window, and I was trying not to vomit (facing backwards).

    Toronto skyline

I took a flight around in a small plane last weekend, didn't get a chance to post the pictures until now. Sorry about the quality, it was through a window and I was trying not to vomit (because I was facing backwards). I have the higher quality ones, I just shrunk these down...

    Toronto Form Condos | 50.59m | 14s | Tridel | a—A

Looks kinda like a white/glass version of the Sandcrawler from Star Wars.

    Toronto Scala | 61.57m | 18s | Tridel | Wallman Architects

Looks kinda like the Montreal Olympic Village.

    Toronto 88 Scott Street | 203.9m | 58s | Concert | P + S / IBI

It's funny how itty bitty 1KW looks next to Scotia Plaza. Almost like its child.

Realists. I agree with them that the Toronto of today would never have the cajones to propose and build the CN Tower. Or the Bloor Viaduct (which included a subway deck despite being built 50 years before the B-D line). Or New City Hall... etc.

    1) Debatable, it's easily in the top 5, maybe even top 3. 2) In this city it does. 3) In this city it is. I respectfully disagree. I Like the design overall but I feel like the design was supposed to bring attention to its verticality. I don't think "the sky is falling" or anything like a...

    Toronto West Block Est. 1928, The LakeShore, and The LakeFront | 130.75m | 41s | Choice Properties | a—A

At the corner of Lake Shore and Bathurst I imagine. EDIT: Scratch that, apparently not. Interesting...

    Toronto Fashion House | ?m | 12s | Freed | Core Architects

The red curtains are what makes it look interesting from the outside.

Can't wait until it's done. Not only will a nearby grocery store be a godsend (no more walking from QQ and Stadium to Fort York and Spadina for groceries), but it will turn a previously derelict (almost depressing) corner into one with light and life. Now if only something could be done to...

    Toronto 1Thousand Bay | 104.85m | 32s | Cresford | a—A

It looks like a CD tower where someone didn't put the CDs away properly. I want to go up to it and straighten it out. That's not a criticism, just what it reminds me of.
