Casa Condominium Progress, March 27, 2009 That Scotiabank has always looked ridiculous. As for Casa, by my count they are pouring the flooring of the 38th level. The interior drywall appears to be completed up to at least the 12th floor.

I like this building a lot too, but I think ^that^ is a rather unflattering angle for some reason. Now I kinda wish it was either half the width or double the height.

The Manulife Centre seems to be the only vibrant part of Yonge & Bloor right now. This should change once another 1500 people move onto Charles Street E. by this time next year... and then another 1500 or so people on Balmuto in about 2 years...

Yes, I think you're right. The walls may be around 6 feet high (or a little more) giving complete privacy to the amenities level. I wonder if what they're working on is not the actual "roof" but rather something for the glass to cling to. Looking at the photo above, I'm curious if the glass will...

I think it's just supposed to go a few feet above the fifth floor. (The same height as the side walls surrounding the amenities level.)

Schulich, there may be something screwy with your post. I could not see the pics from my Mac at home and at work I could not see them on my PC... but now, suddenly the pictures just popped up. Hmm. In your first post your html image code is visible which is not right.

I'm guessing it'll probably be slow going for the next two or three months until they get up to the 7th floor where the cookie-cutter tower portion actually begins. And I've always been curious if there will actually be 3 tall trees between those columns or if that was just a whimsical...
