@StreetcarTO Streetcar #4409 has arrived and is being offloaded at our Hillcrest Complex. Look out for it on the street soon! #TTC

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

That's not necessarily true. For example, I've seen piles and piles of people build up for the airport bus, and then two will arrive, unload and pick up at the same time, but you never quite know which one is leaving first.

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

I imagine for a low use bus route, the driver probably just wouldn't need to open the rear doors at all. Since it's low use, it's not too much time for the driver to check POP.

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

Yeah, pretty much. So that people aren't walking behind one streetcar right into the path of another. Buses don't pass each other side by side on most streets (ie from the left lanes) so there's no reason to.

I do know that some train sets have the chimes played outside the door instead of from inside. The automated verbal announcements (All of them!) are quite annoying as they override operator announcements (and has been the case since they were first introduced, and not yet fixed) ...which is...

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

There's a lot of level crossings to be addressed for service all the way to Kitchener, especially past Georgetown. The Acton station is literally at level crossings at both ends. Even through Brampton and Mississauga, there's still a few to be addressed. Torbram Rd is currently working on grade...

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

The 406 had a level crossing at its south end that has only been replaced in the last few months. There's a level crossing on Autoroute 20 near Saint-Hyacinthe. They do exist, but are very rare, and probably predate such rules.

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

It already works seamlessly between systems outside of Toronto, with or without Presto. 2-hour transfer window for any local system outside of Toronto (not GO) on the same fare, having to tap on entering each bus. GO works on distance-based fares, so you tap on and then off when you leave, no...

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

Those are the same as on the new streetcars. They display a giant green checkmark and that is it. No card info, no fare info.

    Transit Fantasy Maps

It's a little difficult to tell from this attachment, but it's the same as on the subway. Bathurst is not marked as accessible. How did nobody notice that?

I remember when the TRs were rare and I would sometimes wait for one just to ride it. I rode a T1 today on YUS line. Is there a reason why they've brought back some specifically for more capacity, as opposed to the other TRs that I often see at Davisville or Wilson?

Toronto non-mall retail (Odds & Ends)

They put one in Bramalea City Centre at one point...then it closed down and then reopened again a year later. It was really strange.

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

I guess they just never thought it through in Mississauga...

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

Although, comparatively, Mississauga has 9 GO Stations that it services compared to Oakville's 3. But, yes, it would make sense for some alternative methods for Presto payments in Mississauga.

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

Because, for some strange reason, Miway only has the one proper terminal to buy fares at, it's all done through authorized sellers, Shopper's Drug Mart is a common one, which are not presto equipped. (There's also any GO stations in Mississauga as well for Presto)

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

They've had available it for passes for maybe at least two years now. Wonder why it's taken so long to get to other fare methods.
