    Toronto 705 Warden Avenue | 63.4m | 19s | CreateTO | superkül

I’m honestly upset at the plan the City went with for Warden North. So much waste of development opportunity

    Toronto 705 Warden Avenue | 63.4m | 19s | CreateTO | superkül

Rick Leary mentioned it once and never again; TTC is exploring leaving Danforth all together and this building at Warden may become the new home for Collectors & Subway Opeartors. However, I suspect it would actually house offices for the Station Supervisor program as Warden Station will soon be...

    2450-2500 Lawrence Avenue East (?s)

Metrolinx built a second track and added a fence on the west side of this property. The tractor trailers literally jack-knife themselves to use the loading docks and have smashed the fence pretty good. If the development on the south side ever comes to fruition than his area will need to keep...

    Toronto 10 Bertrand | 23.6m | 6s | Migson Public Storage | Rick Brown

I see now that it is Migson. Big competition for StorageMart, they pride that location on having 2 loading docks. Also, the roof of StorageMart is leased to a Solar company for another 17+ years…..

Crime?????? They can’t be serious… have they ever visited Cataraqui just down the street???

    Toronto Crosstown LRT: Science Centre Station | ?m | 2s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

Ahhhh yes you are correct I see it now in the station renderings. We have to wonder are there any pedestrian tunnels or relocated utilities under that space.

Huh? The Red is the TTC bus terminal

Danforth Line 2 Scarborough Subway Extension

Sorry bout that. I meant to say for Option2. Yes Option1 is a whole boatload of work. Maybe Option2 is best with a BRT on Ellesmere or curb lane BRT on Progress similar to Pickering/Ajax

    Toronto The Cliffton | 29.1m | 8s | Cliffside | Richard Ziegler

This rendering is the rear of the building. It is a single lane, two way laneway. City may need to make it a one way laneway once condos start going up along this stretch, best to have it as a westbound one way from Midland Ave.

Damn those are nice! With all the developments proposed in this area Main/Danforth will really become a transit hub. Cannot wait to see the plans for Canadian Tire and Sobeys

Danforth Line 2 Scarborough Subway Extension

I’m talking tear down only. If they can tear down that section in 2 months then they can tear out the SRT ROW (Kennedy-Ellesmere) in the same amount of time. Add in tearing out Lawrence East/Ellesmere stations and paving the entire ROW it shouldn’t take more than 6-8 months. Thats assuming the...

    Transit Fantasy Maps

Sorry but Line4 going down Stoufville to have a station at Midland? Midland barely sees 1000 passengers a day as it is with the SRT, why build a subway stop there 🤷‍♂️. Makes more sense to run Line4 straight across Sheppard to McCowan where SSE will terminate. Eglinton East cancelled?

Danforth Line 2 Scarborough Subway Extension

2 year timeline to tear out and pave over the ROW between Kennedy and Ellesmere…..wow! Just to compare timelines, how long is it taking to tear down the Gardiner…?

I know the owners of Wongs personally. They will never sell.. There was a run down property 2 doors east that got rebuilt and I doubt he will sell either.

I suppose you know everything there is to know about the infrastructure hurdles and differences between the 2 sets of trains 👍

Great…..so 3-5 year delay. Look at Golden Mile. 50+ buildings proposed so far and we are still waiting on the Secondary Plan…..LRT opens within 18months and nothings even begun being built

Danforth Line 2 Scarborough Subway Extension

Tory cancelled this 3 stop in favour of a 1 stop and his own personal pet project SmarTrack… He deserves no acknowledgement

This site is currently an unofficial dump and is disgusting. This area will eventually be served by the EglintonE LRT and is currently served by the BRT. I’d like to see some more height, but there is a school nearby that may make it difficult to add more height due to shadowing.

Danforth Line 2 Scarborough Subway Extension

The design they had for that stop was so complicated because they attempted to keep it and the SRT. With the SRT shutting down in 16 months it would make sense to build a basic stop and utilize the existing underground pedestrian tunnel and bus bays - could actually just infill the SRT tracks...
