Too cheap, to acquire the appropriate system to withstand moderate wind gusts. Too chicken out, would shut down the gondola/aerial tram whenever wind gust hits 50km/h (which is quite common). But as AoD has pointed out, the main issue will be it interfering with airport operation.

Does gondola shut down at certain wind speed? Not sure if Toronto is consider a windy city.

That green forward arrow preceding the regular green works great with the advance pedestrian phase. They should bring that in Toronto. It allows through traffic to move instead of doing the pointless wait (especially true for non-core areas). Montreal's implementation still confuses...

They have lowered the speed limit to 40km/h in that section. As for heavy traffic, I don't think there's a real solution for that. Ring roads were supposed to serve as bypass, but area residents will be up-in-arms over that. Even with speed limit lowered, I'd still choose Yonge over Doris or...

With that logic, shouldn't it be: Dundas St. West to Mississauga St. or Hamilton St. (Dundas now being part of Hamilton) Dundas St. East to Kingston St. (just so Kingston Rd addresses get to keep their numbers - or they can add 3000 to all Toronto Kingston Rd. addresses.)

A station at Cummer should be low hanging fruit. They'll have to dig down for the launch shaft anyways. I hope that means it can be added later on.
