Yeah, that would seem strange to me. If a stop were to be added, a Centre/John stop makes way more sense because of the bus routes that feed into it.

Express routes 10 and 20 run along the B & A lines respectively. Local route 41 serves the "T line" and local 44 serves the "S line". Those last two routes are many many years away from requiring rapid transit, although an express T bus could be nice in the short term.

There are express bus routes (limited stops) on the A and B line routes and local service on B, A, S, and T routes. I can't find any specific numbers, but the vast majority of bus trips in Hamilton are along the B line (LRT) corridor.

Obviously terrible PR for the project given that many people were sold on "100% funded by the province".
