    Richmond Hill Yonge Line 1 North Subway Extension | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Yeah, that would seem strange to me. If a stop were to be added, a Centre/John stop makes way more sense because of the bus routes that feed into it.

Plus there's no obvious name following standard conventions. The Queen–Don line?

Eglinton West will be renamed Cedervale for both lines once Eglinton opens.

    Hamilton Hamilton Line B LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

It's not very clear in the article, so I've highlighted the LRT route, stops, maintenance spur, and yard location over a Google Maps satellite shot. I'm not sure what's going on in their render because those factory-looking buildings would be blocking the route to the yard.

Some very encouraging news. Though the bidding process (which was supposed to end in April) has been extended to the end of the year which will shift the start of construction to 2020.

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

I'm not the biggest fan of the current alignment because I don't think it's going to save people wanting to avoid the City Centre any time. By the time the LRT pulls in and reverses out of Rathburn, it could've just gone around the loop. My preference would have been to just eliminate the Robert...

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Not sure if this has been discussed before, but the two stops between Cooksville GO and City Centre have been renamed/moved. Presumably the old "Matthews Gate" stop will move a few metres closer to Burnhamthorpe for a better bus connection now that the "Main" stop is cancelled. And the "Central...

    Hamilton Hamilton Line B LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

There's actually no HSR service between Waterdown and the rest of Hamilton! I'm guessing the L-line only exists on paper is for political reasons.

    Hamilton Hamilton Line B LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

I don't think Hamilton has ever published per-route ridership numbers but anecdotally, the B-line is quite busy, especially in the western portion. The A-line is not as busy and it only runs at 20 or 30 minute frequencies compared to every 10 minutes on the B-line (plus overlapping local...

    Hamilton Hamilton Line B LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Express routes 10 and 20 run along the B & A lines respectively. Local route 41 serves the "T line" and local 44 serves the "S line". Those last two routes are many many years away from requiring rapid transit, although an express T bus could be nice in the short term.

    Hamilton Hamilton Line B LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Hamilton is much closer in size to Mississauga than K-W. And it's impossible to define which cities "need" or don't need an LRT. I think in the case of Hamilton, the LRT is a tremendous opportunity to revitalize the downtown, which it not seen as the nicest area. It's also a chance to improve...

    Hamilton Hamilton Line B LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

There are express bus routes (limited stops) on the A and B line routes and local service on B, A, S, and T routes. I can't find any specific numbers, but the vast majority of bus trips in Hamilton are along the B line (LRT) corridor.

Obviously terrible PR for the project given that many people were sold on "100% funded by the province". In the grand scheme of things, if this project goes through over budget and Hamilton is hit with a $100+ million bill, it would still be a tremendous value to Hamilton at 90% provincial funding.

Ontario Line Extension West of Ontario Place (Speculation)

This is what I read on Wikipedia: "According to the TTC, the City of Toronto feared that the street railway franchise operator [...] would allow the operation of steam locomotives and freight trains through city streets, as was common practice in Hamilton, Ontario (until the 1950s)" Sourced from...
