Here is a kind of blurry, crappy picture I took from the car yesterday. I was heading south on Jarvis. The crane is a very noticable addition to the drive on the gardner.

Thanks Traynor, looks good. I really like the balcony cutouts on the side. BTW the new piece of steel they were adding yesterday has come back down. I noticed on my way home yesterday that it wasn't installed. Check out the photos section, I added some pictures of my view from Montage.

Here's a distant shot of Casa (and a bunch of other stuff) from my office window. Sorry it's so small but the bb has no zoom.

Nope still working on the final underground level. I'm guessing another 2 weeks until that last level is finished. They're just finishing the forming for the elveator shafts right now, looks like those are ready to be poured very soon.

And my office at work looks north, so I've got a good distant view of x and casa, plus I'll have a great view or Aura once it gets above the Delta (I just have to stay employed here for another 2-3 years). From work I have access to windows in every direction so I can see most of the big...

Here's a shot of the new steel at the top taken from work. The quality sucks as the sun is shining right on the window.

Hmmm I think you're right, 300 front will kill a lot of my view of the CBA. Oh well it's a few years away and I'm only renting. If you do get the time to play with that photo, let me take another one this weekend from the balcony with my camera (that was a BB pic). It will be of better...

What do those purple signs say. Are they new or have they been there a while?

Traynor, thanks for finishing that, now I can see what my view will be in a cpl of months. Hey, can anyone add Shangri la to that, plus maybe 300 Yonge and a finished Lightbox. Then I wouldn't have to wait a few years :)

Since it was such a sunny day I decided to snap a photo out my window. I stuck it in the Ritz thread but it has a few projects in it.

I agree 100%. The lake views of both ICE and MLS are generally blocked by the condos on Queens Quay as well. As soon as I saw the view from my condo in Montage (I'm renting) I was sold on the unit. I look east and have an amazing view of the entire city, it is stunning at night.

They're a level above that now, I'll take a pic on my way to work tomorrow. It is now above the height of the Gardner as well.

    Toronto Living Shangri-La Toronto | 214.57m | 66s | Westbank | James Cheng

Based on how things have progressed so far I'd say the whole site will be at ground level by mid feb. Based on historical progress I don't think the whole thing will be at ground level by the end of January. I can see the site out my work window and have followed the general progress so far.

Nope, still one level to go before it hits street level. At least for the 3/4 of the site I can see.

    Toronto Ripley's Aquarium of Canada | 13.11m | 2s | Ripley Entertainment | B+H

Ok, I'm no aquarium expert but why would they be dumping water straight into the lake. Are you saying they're going to build a pipeline to take water from the aquarium straight to the lake? I'm pretty certain that like any other building in the city this one will be connected to the city's...
